Pocket Little League is powered by dedicated individuals who generously give their time, talents, and energy to create a positive baseball experience for our players and families.
Whether you’re interested in coaching, serving on our Board of Directors, helping coordinate team activities, or taking on a leadership role, there are many ways to make a difference.
Board of Directors
Shape the Future of PLL: Join the Board or a Committee!
We’ve all heard some version of this at some point in our lives. We suggest an improvement, and we’re told: “That’s a great idea. Who’s going to do it?” Or, when raising a concern: “Don’t just complain. Help make it better!”
Well, here’s your chance! Pocket Little League is looking for volunteers to help our league shine — either on our Board of Directors or joining a committee.
PLL’s Board of Directors are the league’s most dedicated volunteers, working to improve PLL for our players and community.
We keep costs down and fields up. We organize events for PLL families to enjoy. We work with the city and neighboring leagues. We read and verify all registration documents and coaches’ training certificates.
We deal with crises you will never hear about and build bridges you never knew we needed. We support our coaches and volunteers, we take our responsibility to the children of the league seriously — and most of all, we seek to improve PLL each year.
Board terms run from October 1 to September 30 each year. We encourage anyone who is interested in joining the Board of Directors to contact us at boardofdirectors@pocketlittleleague.com.
Want to help but don’t have the time for a full Board role? Committee positions are a fantastic, flexible alternative — and you don’t have to wait until the next Board election. Open committees include Grounds Crew, Snack Shack, and Special Events. Reach out if you’re interested!
In efforts to make Pocket Little League the best that it can be, we ask you to send any suggestions or concerns to Pocket Little League.

Managers and Coaches
Pocket Little League depends on dedicated volunteer managers and coaches to create a positive, safe, and fun baseball experience for our players. Whether you are an experienced coach or interested in coaching for the first time, we welcome volunteers who are committed to helping our players learn, develop, and enjoy the game.
Managers and coaches are selected each season and must complete all required Little League and Pocket Little League volunteer requirements, including an annual background check, and required safety and training courses. Coaching appointments are made annually and do not carry over automatically from one season to the next.
