With the start of Regular Season just a month away, it is time for Pocket Little League Skills Assessment. Skills Assessment is required for players registered in the AA, AAA, and Majors. T-ball and A division do not participate in Skills Assessment.

The Skills Assessment will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Conlin Fields.

What is the skills assessment?
The skills assessment is used to evaluate each player current baseball skills as it relates to batting, throwing, fielding, running and pitching (AA-Majors divisions). It provides a snapshot of the player current baseball skills. Our player agent, managers and coaches will use this information to help them draft players onto a team.

How will the skills assessment be conducted?
3 to 5 different stations will be setup that would include hitting 3 to 5 pitches from a coach, running to first and 2nd base, fielding ground balls and fly balls (older players), throwing, and pitching in the older divisions (AA-Majors).

How long will it take?
It will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes for each player to complete the assessment. To help make this experience quick and easy for our families, we ask that players with last name starting with A-M come on the first hour, and players with last name N-Z come on 2nd hour for your division. Thanks for your cooperation. Check-in at the Snack Shack 30 minutes before the division scheduled skills assessment time.

The Skills Assessment will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Conlin Fields.
Scheduled times for each division are as follows:

  • Majors Division (age 11-12): 9-11:00 a.m. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • AAA Division (age 9-10): 11:00-1:00 p.m. Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m.
  • AA Division (age 7-8): 1-2:30 p.m. Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m.
