What is the skills assessment?

The skills assessment is used to evaluate each player current baseball skills as it relate to batting, throwing, fielding, running and pitching (AA-Majors divisions). It provides a snapshot of the player current baseball skills.  Our player agent, managers and coaches will used this information to help them draft players onto a team.

How will the skills assessment be conducted?

3 to 5 different stations will be setup that would include hitting 3 to 5 pitches from a coach, running to first and 2nd base, fielding ground balls and fly balls (older players), throwing, and pitching in the older divisions (AA-Majors).

How long will it take?

It will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes for each player to complete the assessment.

Attendance

Players will only need to attend one of the two skills assessment sessions. There are two skills assessment days scheduled on Saturday, January 25 and Saturday, February 1 for all divisions except the Juniors Division. Juniors division skills assessment is scheduled for Saturday, February 1.
